Coach’s Notes:  Ems has made steady progress over his first three seasons.  The summer before his Junior year he started training more seriously as part of competing in triathlons.  This led to him coming onto the team in decent shape, which made a big difference in his early season performance.  The picture is when he finished 2nd in the very competitive Shore Coaches Championship JV race.  He had a tough end of year when he became ill, otherwise he would have challenged for one of the final Top 7 spots on the Championship squad.  As the picture shows, Tyler is fun-loving and has a good time on the team.  As a Captain he will help the team keep loose, but also be ready to compete.
