Coach’s Notes: Schwartz came out for the first time last season, coaxed on by his tennis buddy, Brandon Greenwood. He had a very successful first year - breaking 19 minutes and earning a Varsity letter. He has a very fluid and natural stride, and has a strong desire to succeed. As this is being written he is in the middle of spring tennis season, but is getting some running in. The key will be putting in a lot of miles this summer to be able to compete for a spot on the Championship Squad. It could be difficult to split time between tennis and running, but Schwartz seems to have a very hig work ethic. He is one of the runners to watch and could have an impact on the Varsity 7.
